From Axantum Software AB :Easy to use strong file encryption, integrated with Windows Explorer. Encrypt, compress, decrypt, wipe, view and edit with a few mouse clicks. Cryptographic primitives are AES-128 and SHA-1. A combination of strong symmetric encryption with compression and double-click editing/viewing. Encrypted files have a .AXX extension added to their names, and are shown with a new icon. AxCrypt has passed the Microsoft Platform Test for ISV Solutions at VeriTest. Testing was conducted independently by VeriTest, a testing service of Lionbridge Technologies.

Pros: Best tool out there for the windows OS to encrypt files on the fly. Can be setup to share encrypted files with in a workgroup or sent to individuals. Very easy to use and powerful. The best I've seen!
Cons: None that I can think of.

"Very good! A program that I trust!"
Pros: Easy to use and open source. Just right click with the mouse and from windows explorer choose encrypt, write down a password and the file is encrypted.It handles nearly all of my encrypted files. I trust the developer as it is open source.
Cons: None that I know of!
