It has a high detection rate combined with a lot of features which other software usually lacks. It has exiting looks and a lot of skins to choose from. The program is extremely stable and it wont bother you and ask you regulary for your attention, just install and forget. I have used it on different computers for about 3 years and 6 months. The company behind it-Alwil Software-is very serious and wont spam you or bother you in any way. My Norton antivirus software in my pc at work was slow and the scanner didn't work all the time. Now I have replaced it with Avast Professional.

I think the computers must be protected yet, but there are too many hackers and Avast protect our systems without costs, that's important for a family who use computer only for itself.
Cons
I like all of Avast Home Edition. The only little problem is that we cannot defrag the disk when it is in work.
Summary
This product works very well and it did'nt give problems of any kind. Since I installed it, it protected my computer from every virus or intrusion, warning when there's a danger.
