Starting from the Internet Explorer engine, Avant Browser adds useful capabilities, such as grouped favorites, an RSS reader, and tabbed browsing. The first thing we noticed upon launch was the aesthetically pleasing skin that came as the default with Avant Browser, but you can choose from among many preloaded skins in the Tools menu. The tabbed-browsing feature lets you quickly switch among Web sites, rather than having to shuffle through several browser instances in the Windows taskbar. If you visit several Favorites often, you can save them as a group and open the whole group with one click. When you shut down the program, Avant Browser remembers which windows were open and launches them the next time it starts up. You also can automatically refresh all windows, or only the current one, at regular intervals. A simple pop-up blocker works in most cases, but it was powerless against some floating banners and other, more obscure pop-up methods. This is the best and fastest browser for me. Whether I'm using dialup or wireless, it hums along with no issues. Sure there are a few functions that you have to figure out how to use, but that is what the help link is for, although it isn't hard to figure it out if you just take the time to look. So what if the Menu option are on the right hand side of the screen? Just unlock the toolbars and move your buttons over there under the menu item, and there you go. Every thing on the same side. Avant may be different, but I found it much easier to use than IE7. Avant has replaced Opera as my browser. Firefox? Nothing but a turtle in my experiences. GO AVANT!!!

Very Fast.
If you already have security programs you wont have to worry.
It is compatible with all my programs beacause of the IE6 base.
Very eye pleasing.
Compact enough to save space but not so much to where its annoying
I personally like the drop-down menus on the the top left (saves space)
Cons
Compared to Opera and Mozilla Firefox its skin customization is puny
Although it is fast I would reccommend keeping the number of tabs low on weaker, older computers.

This is the fastest and most efficient way of running the IE browser core. It's also a great looking and working user interface icluding things like AutoFill of forms and configurable search bar that's not in the way. I really like the compact mode which takes the user interface out of the way and opens up for the best browser experience possible. This is a lean mean browsing machine!
Cons
No way of getting "Search this page" as a part of the user interface. It has to be called with a key combo. Other thant that no major gripes.
