Join your hard drive fragments together into a tight bunch with this freeware. Auslogics Disk Defrag's interface couldn't be any cleaner or easier to use.
Choose a hard drive from an easy-to-read pull-down menu, and Disk Defrag instantly displays the drive's size, and used and free space. The program even displays a pie graph for visual learners. One click starts the defragmentation process. The program's defrag process screen displays another handy visual. A sector map makes it easy to see how much of the drive is fragmented, allocated, or free. As the program churns away, the defragged sectors are displayed in blue.
We found the program fast, even on older XP systems. A handy HTML report is prepared after each defrag session. A summary displays the total files and folders defragged, while the detail section lists the defrag outcome for each file. We only wish a final sector map was included in the report. Novices to system administrators will love this easy-to-use hard drive defrag program.

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag 1.1.0.188
Pros: Ran this daily for a week, now only weekly. First defrag took 11 minutes, now it's only 4. Weekly upgrades have worked out minor bugs, such as "skipped files" now get defragged and it properly reports disk size and available space (by version 1.1.1, anyway)
Cons: AusLogics website doesn't report what version is available and it seems only softpedia gets their regular updates???

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag 1.1.0.188
Pros: I like this software.A plain disk defragger. Not one with all tweeks and buttons, just a great fast plain defragger.....I defragged my pc with Windows defragger, then run this straight after it, and Auslogics defrag found another 6% freespace.
I will use this one from now on.I checked the programe for adware/spyware and Virus/Trojans and got the all clear!
Cons: hope it stays free!

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag 1.1.0.188
Pros: Auslogics Disk Defrag is one of the best defragment programs i have ever used. It's fast, effect and free. It features well detailed reports about clusters, % defragged almost everything you would expect a report to have. It's as simple as selecting a drive and clicking next. The defrag doesn't take long at all and thats what makes it one, if not the best disk defragmentation programs out there.

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag 1.1.0.188
Pros: I like this. Only 1.44 in size and downloads in seconds with no configuring to do, just choose the drive you wish to defrag and let it do it's thing.
I did a windows defrag a few days ago so mine was completed in less that 2 minutes. Interested to see how long it takes after a month or two.
It is free so try it for yourself, an older machine might benefit greatly with this defrag.
Cons: So far there appears to be none at all.
