"Doesnt play on DVD players"
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 5.2.8
Cons
Tried playing the video I made on 3 different DVD players.. Not once did it work. Only played on my computer rom.

"NO SOUND - but otherwise worthwhile"
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 5.2.8
Pros
Very easy to use interface, end resulting video came out well [exception, see below], trial version does not have watermark or partial loading.
Cons
THERE WAS NO SOUND ON MY DVD. Sure, it played in my home DVD player, but if I can't hear the SOUND...it's not of much use. Also, the DVD menu creator for the software leaves quite a bit to be desired. It also took quite a while, but I just left it running while I did other things.

"GARBAGE"
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 4.9.16
Pros
It looked cool at first, and seemed pretty easy. That was about it.
Cons
EVERYTHING! For one, it took about 3 1/2 hours to "burn" my dvd....after that, i found out that it didnt even burn anything on my dvd!!!! And when it told me to find the medium, and i tried to do so, it wouldnt let me. it kept saying "medium not found". I wouldnt let my cat use this program.

"Happy until now"
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 4.9.6
Pros
I have been using this product since the begining of the year and it has been great. Bit slow but I was happy with it.
Cons
Over the last couple of weeks it has been freezing when it comes to create DVD Structure. I have tried, in vain, to email the support desk who state they will reply within 48 hours. I am still waiting. Good product bad Customer service!!!!

"The most solid '2' I've ever rated software"
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 4.9.3
Pros
Supposedly, you can create your own dvd menu by uploading a picture for a background with the scenes showing up as thumbnails.
It's simple to figure out and I know it works, cause I was able to play a 2 minute movie on my dvd player.
Cons
This thing takes forever! And it doesn't let you know how much longer it's going to take. I'm in the middle of burning a 85mb compilation and it just passed 4 hours that it's been running... still not done.
I've been looking at this text that says Create DVD Structure... for at least an hour now with no indicator as to how much longer it's going to take. It tells you up until that step for some reason. But then, nothing.
It's a good overall concept, the demo of the title menu looks really professional, but I would have called this one the alpha version. It has too many problems.

"Needs to speed up more"
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 4.7.21
Pros
Simple interface. Good end result.
Cons
Don't like DVD menus. Program is way too slow; 3 hours and still chugging away. No indicator to let you know if the program is still running. Several times I thought the program had frozen, but it was just thinking??

"Doesn't work for me."
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 4.7.21
Pros
Nothing
Cons
This app crashed every time I opened a file. I would suggest Cufusoft.

"Just what I am looking for, but my DVD players don't like the menus. :("
Version: Aurora MPEG to DVD Burner 4.7.14
Pros
- Simple to use. I didn't need to know very much at all to get going.
- It allows the user to select aspect ratio for converting the files.
- You can select which frame of an mpeg file to use for the chapter menu thumbnail.
- Audio/video sync of the DVD looked better than when I played the mpeg files on Windows Media Player.
Cons
- On 2 out of 3 of my DVD players, I was unable to use the menus to select a chapter to play. I had to totally bypass the menus to play the video. I tried simplifying things and re-burning the disk, but no help. (My third DVD player was able to use the menus, but audio/video sync was way off. I'm pretty sure this was the player's problem, not Aurora's).
