From f2ko :Audio/Video To Exe converts audio/video files into other audio/video formats or an executable. Almost all audio/video formats (3gp, aac, ac3, avi, flac, flv, mov, mp2, mp3, mp4, mpa, mpc, mpg, ogg, ra, ram, rm, vob, wav, wma, wmv, and other) are supported. You can play, convert your executables without a player, and codec. It works standalone.
If you prefer you can extract the included file. It's not necessary to create executables, you can use this tool also as an converter or a player. Version 1.4 adds autoplaying EXE files.

Version: Audio/Video To Exe 1.4
"Great Promise but Not Very Useful..."
Pros: It does a nice job of converting a SINGLE mp4 (unprotected-aac) to a SINGLE mp3.
Cons: No Batch mode.
No feedback during the conversion process.
(I thought it crashed when I clicked convert, the window just goes blank).
IT COMPLETELY LOOSES ALL TAG/METADATA DURING THE CONVERSION PROCESS.

Version: Audio/Video To Exe 1.4
Pros: it converts any aud/vid in one format to any of a bunch of others it has stashed in its' little system, and it will play it back rather well in that format you choose.
Cons: installing was cryptic: upon downloading it disappeared...i did it again and it worked.
opened it in file i had downloaded it into, chose english over german, chose file i wanted to convert (flv 2 wmv) and to where i wanted to save it, BINGO (after a minute), and it worked.
you may need to create a shortcut somewhere; no desktop/start menu icon.

Pros: The program worked, and worked quickly. Easy to install (extract) and uninstall (delete). User interface clean and simple.
Cons: The sound conversion quality was of a poor standard (with 3gp to wmv).
It works, and it's free, but it's not stunning.

"Very fast converter - does a good job!"
Pros: Converts from one format to another very quickly and does a very good job in converting.
Cons: A bit awkward interface but excellent for free!
