From the developer: "Audio Converter quickly and easily converts your audio files and CD audio tracks directly to Windows Media Audio (features MP3 quality at half the size), MP3, AIFF, and Wave format. It supports compact disc database (CDDB) queries and submissions, WinAMP M3U and PLS playlists, audio volume normalization, audio compression manager (ACM), various MP3 encoders (like L.A.M.E, BladeEnc and Radium MP3 codec), Windows Media Audio (WMA) V8, encoding portions of a file, ID3v2 tag (author name, title, album and other information) editing and more. Easy CD-DA Recorder included allows you to burn standard audio CD or MP3 CDs.

"Audio Converter now supports additional L.A.M.E encoder options, like MPEG-II, variable bit rate (VBR), joint stereo and dual channel. Also there is now an easy-to-use file naming scheme editor. Naming schemes can be used to rename your files based on author, year, title etc."
