This Firefox extension combines Ask.coms search capabilities with the convenience of a toolbar. The result is an eye-pleasing and functional toolbar that will appeal to Ask.com users.

Ask.com Toolbar for Firefox features colorful buttons that stretch across your browser window. The toolbar itself can be customized by adding or removing buttons. It includes a search field that uses Ask.coms search engine. There are buttons for checking the latest weather, news, and stock information, as well as a button for searching popular blogs and feeds. What you wont find here are a few standard toolbar features, such as e-mail notification, or a pop-up blocker, but it includes a useful Web page translation feature and a page resize feature. You can also sign in to your Ask.com account using the toolbar button. All of the toolbar's buttons and search features worked without any issues.

If you're not a frequent user of Ask.com, you probably wont appreciate all off this toolbar's features. But if you are, this toolbar is a free and effective way to get quicker access to all that Ask.com has to offer.

"ask.com is nothing but trash now"

    January 23, 2011  |   By dijit47

Version: Ask.com Toolbar for Firefox 2.0.1

    Pros

    None. No merits.

    Cons

Meant to track & spy now.

    Summary

If you go to Voidtools.com, you will be able to get rid of any and all traces of ask.com stuff. The program is called Everything and lets you search INSTANTLY for any file or folder on your machine. It is small and simple to install. When you have it installed, type ask* and you will get results for any ask.com stuff. Right click and delete each item. Even when you choose "No" in some programs that install ask.com, it still installs traces and programs. Good luck Jim, this tape will destruct in five seconds....
