'Ask the web' (ATW) is a special kind of web browser which is specialized for dictionary servers (e.g. English to Dutch, German to Itailian,...), compareable to Apple Sherlock for Search Servers. As Sherlock, ATW is also using on plugins to define the dictionary servers.
ATW offers a lot of features, here some examples:
- full usage of thread programming
- creates automaticly local dictionaries
- Proxy support with proxy test procedure
- automatic version control
- all dictionary info is based on plugins (compareable to Apple Sherlock)
- includes a complete editor for creating and editing plugins (with plugin debugger!)
- availible for MacOS Classic, MacOS X & Microsoft Windows (tested on NT4, Win95, Win98)

- improved HTTP Socket: ATW is now supporting Proxy Servers with authorization requirements!
