Keeping your car running like a champ requires a bit of maintenance now and again. When that time arises, you want to take your beloved to a mechanic you trust. The same holds true for your computer. You'll want to use a trusted maintenance/optimization suite, one that has done you right in the past and has kept your operating system healthy.
Enter Ashampoo WinOptimizer Platinum Suite. With a gorgeous interface and the simple One-Click Optimization feature, the app expands on its already-good reputation with an eye-catching product. WinOptimizer offers Drive Cleaner, Registry Cleaner, Internet Cleaner, Internet Tuner, File Associator, DLL Cleaner, File Wiper, and Start-Up Tuner. Each of the eight tools features a metallic interface, a nice overview, a warning where applicable, and a large Start button.
WinOptimizer safeguards potentially dangerous tools such as Registry Cleaner and DLL Cleaner by flagging only items that can be deleted without worry. One-Click Optimization is the safest bet for a quick checkup, running all the tools in one swoop. Novice users will appreciate the ease of use while pro users will find plenty of ways to get their hands dirty.

Version: Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4.10
Pros: A good software but it is not ready for novice users.
Nice interface, with some new tools. If you have version 3, keep it if you only need a cleaning tool!
Cons: Version 4 require a clone backup because some files that your computer needs will been deleted.
Your saved login for mail an other things will be erased. You can save cookies for your trusted sites, but in fact this will also be erased. This software needs some updates before it can be trustworth.

"Better Than Its Predecessor, Better Than Ever"
Pros: If Ashampoo WinOptimizer 3 was good, then Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4 is even better. This version offers a better defragmenter, a great disk cleaner, a precise registry cleaner, and a helpful Internet cleaner. You can easily tweak many aspects of your PC and run Windows programs such as CHKDSK, the Windows Disk Defragmenter, and System Restore. You can also break up files and put them back together (great for moving files from computer to computer with a CD/floppy drive). It also gives you the option to encrypt files for added security and permanently delete files. The price isn't that bad, if you think about it. If you bought a separate disk cleaner, registry cleaner, defragmenter, tweaker, and file manager, it would cost you well over the $49.99 Ashampoo is offering you. But that's not to say that there are better optimizers out there.
Cons: Ashampoo seems eager to advertise its products giving you the option to accept news of new products, but that's really not a con...more of an observation.

Cons: it cannot defrag files with a size of 4gb+

Pros: good and easy to use interface.all in one suite for fixing many problems.good defragmenter.cleans registry.sweeps junk files,internet debris.can encrypt and decrypt data.manage running programs and control auto start programs.tune your internet connection for maximum speed.nice visual styler to fix icon problems with windows and control the style of icons etc.
Cons: does not give detailed information about the defragmentation process.

Version: Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4.10
"If you have read my reviews,"
Pros: You would know that in general I am no fan of "Ashampoo". However, lately I have started to have another look at some of their app's. When they offer me a full version licensed copy for $9.99 it's hard not too. As of today I have purchased their "Anti-Spyware 1.5", "Photo Commander 5" and now this app. Being leary of testing all the features on my personal PC, I brought it to work, installed it and ran all the features except the "One Click Maintenance" feature. To my plesent surprise all went better than I could have ever hoped for. This version is much improved with a cleaner interface, faster speeds and more features. Heck, for $9.99 I got a steal. Nice job by "Ashampoo". If this keeps up I may start to believe, at least in some of their app's. Just to clarify, the $9.99 price I paid was for an upgrade from version 3 to version 4.
Cons: Nont to date. I recomend all to give it a try but be carefull and look at what you delete before you delete it.
