When you need something more powerful than the Windows' built-in uninstaller, Ashampoo UnInstaller may be the solution. The program both installs and removes software and also offers basic cleanup tools for deleting cookies, fonts, broken shortcuts, Internet Explorer add-ons, duplicate files, and empty folders.
Using the installer module to add new applications makes the most sense, as it creates a log file that will then be used by the uninstaller to remove every trace. This process could've been smoother, but it does work as advertised. You also can uninstall non-logged applications in a similar fashion to the Add/Remove Programs function included in Windows. The other modules work well but seem like afterthoughts since they have little to do with the program's core functionality, excepting the Find/Remove Empty Folders tool. The program also offers an Expert mode for additional control of various processes.
Though it's a far cry from essential, Ashampoo UnInstaller does an excellent job if you take the time to configure it. It's not the best bet for newbies, but we recommend it to power users and pros who demand ultimate control over their systems.

UnInstaller 3 removes programs from your system without a trace, allowing you to test software with confidence because you know its not going to dirty your computer. It makes this easy, monitoring the installation of new programs automatically and enabling you to remove them completely with a couple of clicks.

"Better on a new or freshly formatted drive."
Pros: This program is a nice offer by Ashampoo. That is, as long as it's installed no later then second, behind their defrag utility. When monitoring installs it can completely remove programs in a safe manor. As long as you allow it to do the full job it was intended to do, it's a good program. Professional GUI, lots of options including drop & drag, easy to use like all their software. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it as an after thought to an established system.
Cons: Like I said, as long as you allow it to do the full job it was intended to do, it's a good program. If you don't allow it's install monitor to run, then get Revo. It's free and can pretty much handle all the tough ones.

"Ashampoo Uninstaller is definitely a HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!"
Pros: I have been using Ashampoo Uninstaller for about 5 years now. I have always been impressed with the quality and thoroughness of the Uninstallers functionality. It removes every lat trace of any program and I have never had any issues with it. Easy yo learn, even easier to use!!
Definitely a HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Cons: I have found no issues with any of the versions i have used over the years. Very easy and intuitive

"Useful and essential software for COMPLETELY removing applications from your system."
Pros: I've always hated it when my system begins to slowdown because of all the files that were not removed by an application's un-installer. This is a very cleaver application that makes sure that no traces of an application are left behind when taking them off. After all, who hates having to re-install Windows every few years or so ?

Pros: I love using this program to track the changes an installer makes or some other software edits/configuration changes. I monitor the process i want to log and then can see exactly what's happening (under the hood). Then it can even create a .reg file of the registry changes I want to log.

"It's the best Uninstaller software I ever used!!!"
Pros: This Ashampoo Uninstaller 3 is very good and the best software there is! I would recomand to anybody! The rest of Ashampoo products are very good! Try them!
