Despite an occasionally troublesome interface, Ashampoo Photo Commander 5 distinguishes itself with its enormous set of features.
You'll find all the usual media-management functions for rotating, printing, and sending images via e-mail, as well as a media player. You'll also find basic drawing tools and features for fixing red-eye, tweaking RGB values, and adjusting brightness and contrast. The highly configurable Tools section helps you search for files, convert them to other formats, rename batches of files, create and view slide shows, convert images, compress images, produce screenshots for your desktop, make photo CDs, and prepare images for Web publication.
Although the customizable interface appears chaotic at first glance, it does show nice polish, and it's simple enough to figure out after a few moments of study. All in all, Ashampoo Photo Commander 5 has a lot to offer shutterbugs and image hounds.

It also features additional creativity tools and audio and video management capabilities, making it a complete media management package. The previous versions won praise for their intuitive ease of use and the inclusion of all the tools amateur photographers need to organize, edit and enhance their pictures. The latest version is a major overhaul, bringing more speed, better quality, many new features and effects, and an enhanced user interface. Thumbnail generation and display are now faster, and tools like the Frame Style Center, Collage Tool, and Calendar Tool help you create finished products with your photos.
Version 5.10 supports editing and displaying personal days in the calendar, enables the user to replace the Hand Cursor with the Arrow Scroll, and createHTMLAlbum: Images are auto-converted into the destination format and one can specify a maximum width and height for the images.

Version: Ashampoo Photo Commander 5.10
Pros: This software is very fast to view your pictures. Have the most important editing tolls for your pictures. Very stable even with thousands of pictures or MP3s. Plays video and sound files even the ones that other players sucks. ACDSee class of software!
Cons: Like ACDSEE too dominating, in this case the built in Mediaplayer will hardly been switch off.

Version: Ashampoo Photo Commander 5.10
Pros: Now this is one "Ashampoo product I lile. It is really easy to use and makes viewing photos much more enjoyable. I especially like the zoom feature and the thumbnails displayed on the right side. The thumbnails clearly show duplicates or ones that are so similar that you can delete the redundant pictures with ease. This is a fun product that can be purchased at a seriously discounted price. I like it!
Cons: None that I can see!
