Ashampoo MP3 AudioCenter is another contender in a long list of digital music managers. With its well-designed user interface and solid performance, this program stands out from the pack.

The program's straightforward user interface looks professionally designed. Colorful command buttons have brief, but clear, explanations of their functions to help you get acclimated. If you're more proficient with these kinds of programs, you can quickly switch from Normal to Expert mode, which will remove some of the onscreen descriptions. The program includes six functions: CD ripping, CD burning, file conversion, normalization, file editing, and file repair. Again, the program keeps the user in mind with wizards to walk you through each function. We found each process easy to follow the first time around, a big plus in our book. Extracting audio files, converting to other formats, and normalizing them was a breeze, and each took only a matter of minutes to complete.

Should you need it, an extensive Help file is available, but with its intuitive design and helpful wizards, most won't have to open it. The program supports MP3, OGG, FLAC, and WAV files. If this covers your preferred file formats, we highly recommend Ashampoo MP3 AudioCenter as a top notch music manager.

Publisher's description

From Ashampoo :

Ashampoo MP3 AudioCenter is the control center for extracting, burning, converting, editing, and repairing audio files. It is smart and easy to use, automatically takes care of all the complicated settings of audio encoding and decoding, and allows the user to focus on what he or she actually wants to do. The center comes with six great modules, with which you can extract audio files from an audio CD; burn WAV, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, and FLAC files directly to audio CDs without any add-ons or plug-ins; convert audio files easily from one format to another; normalize file volume; edit file information; and find and repair broken audio files.

Version 1.7 features the latest burning engine with latest drivers, many changes under the hood, minor bugs removed, and added new languages: Portuguese, Polish, French, Netherlands.

Back up and synchronize your important files automatically.
