Version: Ashampoo FireWall Pro 1.0
Cons: When I had installed this software my connection with the internet was broken. It also got messed up with my antivirus software Avast! Home Edition. It was very difficult to uninstall this software. No good Ashampoo! I use a laptop, Acer Aspire 3103, Windows XP Home Service Pack 2.

"The product is great, the support sucks."
Pros: The learning feature makes setting up a breeze and I like the interactiveness of the program, though some may think it's a pain. It was very effective in blocking the unwanteds.
Cons: I liked it so much I paid for it but I never actually recieved it. The downloaded program stayed "trial" and the back up disc didn't even have Firewall Pro on it but instead was filled with several other trial programs out of only one actually worked. I tried contacting the company several times with no reply at all, so now I am in the process of trying to obtain a refund but I am not very hopeful.

Version: Ashampoo FireWall Pro 1.0
Pros: Easy to configure and light on resources.
Cons: Has crashed my system twice since install. Unfortunately has not inspired confidence...back to COMODO free firewall which i rate highly and have nevr had any issues with.

Version: Ashampoo FireWall Pro 1.0
"Does not live up to claims no stealth one port wide open"
Pros: easy on system resources
Cons: shields up shows all ports responding to a ping--ie no stealth and one common port wide open. I'd dump this thing but it has some how disabled the windows firewall and it is beyond my abilities to turn it back on (yes I used windows help) and it is blocking zonealarm from logging in to true vector.
