"Functions exaclty as described"
Pros: Easy to use for a novice but enough features to make it worthwhile for the music hobbyist. I have used plenty of other freeware programs that convert, sort, and offer some of the same features, but none of them do it as well nor as integrated as this one. I use it to sort and manipulate over 10,000 songs. This is a great product.
Cons: I attempted to process 3,000 songs at one time from an external drive and I experienced a hiccup. Also, the ability for the program to know if you have already processed a file with the same parameters would be helpful.

"It does what it says on the tin easily & efficiently"
Pros: No hassle user interface is very easy to understand & use
Cons: Does not read / convert to/from AAC format

"a simple set of audio tools that do many jobs very well"
Pros: converts to many formats; repairs files ;alows editing and offers burning and , a sound ripper and recorder from your pcs sound card and various other inputs .ashampoo not only hit the mark with conversion but with the addition of this sound card recorder save on buying both a converter and a sound card recorder. its so new i havent burned with it yet. but conversions were a doddle and having just got it ive been using the sound card recorder lots ;recording from my computers sound card in wav and then using the same program to convert the wav to mp3.looks good is good and i highly recomend it to all.
