I use this anti-malware in conjunction with my anti-virus because my anti-virus let a trojan slip through that this product found and quaranteened
Cons
Sometimes hangs and forces a reboot. Only three times last year.

"Excellent AV+AS Scanner !"

Pros
AV+AS, or Antivirus plus Anti-spyware: high detection rate, as others have noted. Not a drain on system like some anti-malware products. You can run a defragger like Auslogics and there is no noticeable drain as the defrag scans all files on your PC.
Cons
only negative is RAM usage, can get up to 140-150 Megs. But if you have, say, a 4-Gig Windows 7 computer or laptop, that is no problem.
Summary
The AS scanner is from the old A-Squared product. The AV scanner is from Ikarus Antivirus. Same dual-engine as Emsisoft AntiMalware, yet with a different skin on. Not identical to Emsisoft in that it has different features: no surf protector or 'web-guard', for one. But uses the identical AV and AS scan engines. Highly recommend, especially for the price; and especially if you get one of the markdowns, this is a real steal of a deal!

"One of the best anti-malware"

I have several computers and I have been using this product for well over an year. It is probably the strongest antivirus of all. It detects every tiny bit of malware, including tracking cookies too. It has a very neatly designed interface. It can detect at least 97% of all known malware that exists. The detection is even more superior than AVG, Avira, Kaspersky, Mcafee, and Norton. I have used all of them and what they missed was detected by this anti-malware. It is next to impossible to get an infection on your computer with this product. Around thanksgiving and new year, they provide deep discounts like 70 to 80% off. That's when i renew the subscription
Cons
Takes a very long time to scan the computer. It can take even 10 hours or so. But that only shows how thoroughly and deeply it checks the computer.
Summary
One of the best antiviruses. Definitely in the top 5 of the market.

i scanned my laptop,it found 20 malwares,some of them rated (high),i mean dangerous.
i love it so muchCons
the only thing which i don't like so much,it is a little bit slow.
i used about 60GB from my hard drive,and it took about 3 hours for the scan to finish.
