Version: Ape Ripper 3.5.5
Pros: It works and is intuitive
Cons: I don't see the point. There are lots of audio formats that work fine and are free, so why come up with one you have to buy?
I'm not sure what it is doing but it doesn't like files being moved or renamed (genres etc), won't let me have long sub directory lists etc, all of which are crucial to accurate file management.
I think it smells of a Microsoft worker - does what it's supposed to but ...

Version: Ape Ripper 3.5.5
Pros: nothing
Cons: Friend sent me a APE music file. Wanted to convert to MP3. Simple, straight-forward, i think. APE Convert would NOT let me convert file without a cue-sheets file ??? I can get the file to play just fine in WMP and dont have a problem anywhere else. But, APE convert INSISTS on having a cue-sheets file, and will not do anything without it.
Also, whats with the UGLY green/white slant window dressing. Programmer spent WAY to much time making stupid colors and windows buttons and not enough time making a functional program that worked.
