It copies in high quality AVI (DivX, XviD, MPEG-4), VCD (MPEG-1), and SVCD (MPEG-2) formats. It also extracts audio from DVD movies. In version 3.78 the foreign subtitle bug is fixed.

Version: AoA DVD Ripper SE 3.78
Pros: Powerful tool for DVD ripping, converting and backup. I got this nice app to backup my family DVDs because we don't have a DVD burner. There are many softwares on the market but this was the only one I handled. The others were very complicated in terms of configurating the system
Cons: Very simple. I think they should have some editing functions as well inside this program

Version: AoA DVD Ripper SE 3.78
Pros: This let me rip the audio I needed to put a few movie quotes onto a CD for my friend. It also lets you control the volume. And you can choose to copy the whole thing or just a small clip. I haven't tried ripping a video clip yet (Actually, I'm in the middle of doing so but have yet to see the full result).
Cons: It won't let you change the name of the file it creates, which can be annoying.

Version: AoA DVD Ripper SE 3.78
Pros: You ARE able to copy just about any dvd on the market out there.
Cons: Once you have copyed it to your hard drive. You won't be able to do anything with it, can't watch it from your hard drive, you can copy it to a normal 4.7gb dvd. Most dvd movies out there are about 7.5gbs in size. I am sorry I spent the money on the program.
