From AoA Media :AoA DVD Ripper SE provides a fast and easy way to copy your favorite DVDs onto your hard drive in high quality AVI (DivX, XivD, and MPEG-4), VCD (MPEG-1), and SVCD (MPEG-2) formats including splitting. This application also extracts sound track from DVDs. Version 3.7 added a new feature: Make 1:1 perfect copies of your DVDs on your hard drive, keeping all the DVD special features, menus, subtitles and audio tracks.

Pros: Fast and allows you to see the progress
Cons: Over all the quality of the rip was subpar. I am using autogk at the moment which is better but more complicated

"Absolutely Splendiferous - Easy to use, wide variety of options"
Pros: The setup was amazingly simple. Install the program pick a directory and you can start encoding from there. The first time I tried to rip a dvd it said it was locked, but told me to try and run the dvd one time and then try ripping it again. Worked fine after that. I've tried Nero, Dr. Divx, and several others and I like AoA the best.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like.

Pros: I evaluated 15 rippers. Yours was the only one. The support team gave me an extremely prompt response when I pointed out two little flaws in the product. It was that level of support that finally sold me!

"Stops at 33% in AVI to DVD - NTSC Converstion"
Pros: Simple interface, 30-day free trial
Cons: Repeatedly stopped at 33% complete when attempting to convert an AVI file to DVD - NTSC format. No response from sales support.
