CNET Editors' review
Any FLV Player is a basic program that allows users to play and publish Flash video files. Because the average media player can't handle FLV files, Any FLV Player is a useful program to have around if you frequently download videos from sites like YouTube.
The program's interface is plain, with its controls displayed as buttons along the top of the screen. Viewing an FLV file is as easy as watching a video with any other media player: simply open and play it. What sets Any FLV Player apart from other media players is that it allows users to publish their FLV videos to HTML Web pages. The pages aren't fancy--they really just display the embedded video on a plain background--but the program does offer some options for customizing the look of the player within the Web page, including its colors and control panel layout. The program's preview feature is especially useful, as it lets users see exactly what the Web page will look like before it's actually created. The program's Help file is brief but well done, with plenty of screenshots. Overall, although Any FLV Player doesn't have a whole lot of features, we think it's a great way to easily view FLV files and publish them to Web pages.
Any FLV Player is free. The program installs a desktop icon without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.

"Not worth the effort"
Version: Any FLV Player 2.03
Pros
Get the codecs to use quicktime for all your flash work, and be done with it. I see no advantage to this one.
Cons
Limited usefulness...quicktime pro with appropriate codecs allows much more leeway.
Summary
A total waste of time
