Control Record/Play/Stop functions remotely using any MIDI controllers such as a Foot Switch, Modulation wheel. Supports the Tascam US-428 External Mixing console. ASIO, VST, VST-Instrument, and Automation support with optional Pro-Mix accessory. Mix audio files with different formats (bits per sample, samples per second) down to a single .WAV file. Optional Multi-Audio 8/16 accessory allows you to simultaneously record up to 8 stereo audio tracks.
What's new in this version:
- Note Properties Move notes to other clef checkbox is now enabled when more than one note selected.
- Added View / Option / Staff checkbox In grid mode, click on staff to insert note. When not checked, clicking just repositions the insertion point.
- By placing the cursor at the end of the current song before selecting File / Merge, it gives the option to merge all tracks of the new song so they begin playing after the currently-loaded song ends.

"Excellent package."

Pros
A very good collection of features assembled to meet the needs of beginners through accomplished amateurs. I really like the ability to write music in traditional notation.
Cons
I found no negative aspects in the application. I decided to go with a more modular approach in my developments, using a VST host and plugins. The skin is not particularly flashy or mod, but hey, we're making music, right?
Summary
The software performs as advertised, has room to grow with the artist, and I recommend it.
