This tool eliminates traces of Internet activity and work on your computer. In Internet Explorer it can clear the location bar history and cookies, index.dat, and delete your history and temporary Internet files. When you use Netscape Navigator, Mozilla, Opera, AOL, the application can clear the history, cookies, and cache. In the Start menu it can clear the Run and Find histories, the Recent Documents list, and the start-click history. It also erases order history. This even clears the media and RealPlayer history, eliminates Windows swap files during system shutdown, gets rid of content in the Clipboard memory, and wipes the files.

This security application discards Web and Window activity traces, but cannot recover files deleted. The simple two-pane interface displays program options and results. AntiSpy quickly clears your cache, cookies, IM history, Windows Run menu, temporary files, and Recycle Bin. The program lacks an undo or trash bin feature. Files accidently deleted are not recoverable. The program erases Web activity history for all of the major browsers. Antispy offers optional plug-ins to erase select application histories, and choosing only the plug-ins you need saves program time. An unusual feature clears the Windows swap file at every system shutdown. The application improves privacy by securely wiping deleted files, but not to governmental standards. All users would benefit from this simple but powerful security tool.

  "Dangerous to use"

  Summary: I have a Sony CD-RW, it classifies the software it uses as spyware. It automatically deletes it without asking and without a restore option.

  Summary: This program does everything that you could reasonably expect it to.
  
  Those who complain about it messing up there system should remember that it only erases what YOU ask it to, stop blaming the software for your own mistakes!
