If you need to cover your virtual tracks by purging unwanted information from your PC, this program does a terrific job. After a speedy installation, Anti Tracks launches automatically to reveal an exceptionally organized interface. You select which files you want to delete from several sections, including ones for Web browsers (IE, Mozilla, Opera), Windows, e-mail, and various applications (such as ICQ or Kazaa). It's also possible to purge any folders of your choice. Paranoiacs will appreciate secure deletions by means of such algorithms as DoD 5220.22-M and Gutmann. What's more, you can design plug-ins for erasing traces left by any application. Besides the program's privacy tools, we were impressed with the features that let you save and launch scheduled tasks over and over again. By all means, Anti Tracks is one of the current best bets for anyone who needs a capable way to protect a PC's privacy.Publisher's description

Version: Anti Tracks 5.0.1
Pros: Works great "sometimes". A breeze to understand and operate, tons of plugin options.
Cons: "Sometimes" isn't enough.
I run a complete history cleansing, meaning every possible item is checked, whether I have/use it or not. I also vary the amount and type of erasing protocal. I ran a complete erase last night, had to reboot via Anti Tracks request in order for all history to have been erased. Low and behold I sign on to my hotmail account today and my screename is still in the sign in box! Then I open IE and start typing a web address and guess what? The auto complete function is filling in previous sites I've been to the day before. Not all sites mind you, for instance, Yahoo did not come up, yet Yahelite did! MSN did not come up, yet an adult site starting with M did!
In order for me to shell out money a progrom must work 100% of the time. Sometimes Anti tracks "seems" to leave no trace, other times it doesn't do it's job. Not worth the price.

"Best Privacy Manager out there!!!"
Pros: It clears the history of windows, supports firefox, shell extension for wiping files, also wipes entire free spaces of drives. On top of this it has many plugins for other programs.
Cons: none that i can think of
