Version: Anapod Explorer 8.7.3
"Nice Windows Explorer Addition, Bad Customer Support"
Pros: I love the integration with Windows Explorer. It gives you the control over your ipod that you, as a windows user, are accustomed to having over your devices. iTunes lacks seriously in the control department, imo. Worked flawlessly.
Cons: The company >>IGNORES<< customer support emails, even after purchasing the software for $25. Unacceptable.

Version: Anapod Explorer 8.7.3
"Great product, takes a bit of fiddling to get it to work"
Pros: Once working is very easy to transfer files to and from my ipod, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Cons: When first loaded kept crashing my computer, uninstalled itunes, then reinstalled anapod first and worked perfectly and was able to reinstall itunes after with no problems

Version: Anapod Explorer 8.7.3
Pros: Free updates available as the software gets better
Cons: Overpriced. I bought it for manual synchronisation options. I thought I would be able to keep more music on Ipod than on the computer and still manage to have automatic sync. Unfortunately its way too complicated and if you change any tag of existing mp3 on the computer, anapod creates a copy on ipod. NOT GOOD plenty free software available

Version: Anapod Explorer 8.7.3
"Served it's purpose, but way overpriced"
Pros: I used Anapod to back up my Ipod music to my PC, for this it worked well
Cons: The product oversells itself, it does the things it says but not in the way you'd expect it to. The way it handles filenames is weird and clunky.
You may be able to stream music over the Net but you'd have to be computer genius to work out how to do it.
For me the Anapod served it's purpose (as a back up method) after a brief dalliance with RealPlayer I've now reverted back to Itunes.
Basically, my recommendation would be that unless you want to backup your Ipod music to your PC, I'd stay well clear of the over priced Anapod. Moreover, I'd expect that there are much cheaper products out there that allow you to back up your Ipod

Version: Anapod Explorer 8.7.3
Pros: Very Easy to use , and give you details of your ipod whicj is of course handy
Cons: Lacks to keep the songs file name so when under I tunes files copied with anapod stores them like 2001 and 2002 etc so its a nightmare to remember to know what song is which.
