Though not quite as awesome as its name, Amazing Photo Editor provides an impressive number of drawing, selection, and special-effects tools for retouching digital images. Adobe Photoshop users will find the toolbar-based interface familiar, though not as polished or easy to use. The menu bar and main toolbar are much too crowded, and the included help is spotty. On the plus side, Amazing Photo Editor supports unlimited Undo and Redo commands, as well as a Reset command that cancels all changes. It also provides batch conversion among numerous graphic formats. On top of that, it can create and edit GIF animations and convert them to AVI video and vice versa. Although the program does not support layers, all of its other tools and features worked well. Overall, it's best suited to intermediate users who want a solid subset of Photoshop's features at a much more reasonable price.Publisher's description
