All2WAV Recorder is a sound-recording and -playing program. You can record sound from a microphone, Internet streaming audio, games, or media files (played by All2WAV Recorder or another multimedia application, such as Winamp, RealOne Player, or Windows Media Player). The recorded sound is saved in WAV files. You can set the sound quality of the WAV file (from 11KHz eight-bit mono to 44KHz 16-bit stereo.

After installing, I ran the program and selected the option to record immediately, then the program simply disappeared!

You won't have wasted your $ when you figure out it doesn't do ANYTHING.

Editors gave it 2 stars? How did they get this thing to function? You tell the program where you want the file, and the bitrate you desire, and then click "record now." ZAP - the program closes and the file never comes into existence.

simple interface, no redundant volume controls

does not work. after setting up the options and clicking "finish" it simply quits. there is not any "record" button. i think it was meant to be a dry joke :)

It doesn't work. That's all. No recording, no playback, no nothing. As soon as I hit record, the program shuts itself down. And the documentation is no help. As useless a program as you're likely to find.
