Those that are new to 3D will find the tutorials, help, and user interface helpful in learning how to build 3D designs. Xpress is used in manufacturing, woodworking, mechanical design, and much more. Professional designers can use it at home and export for work. Once you have mastered Xpress, you can upgrade to more robust versions of Alibre Design. Version 11 adds drag and drop constraint mode, enhanced View Rotation.

"Excellent CAD Software for Free"
Pros: I can't believe this free software is parametric solid modeler. You can't find it, I mean parametric modeler, anywhere for free. This type of software is known to be expensive and not made for home use or hobby.
Cons: There are some key features and workspaces in the software that are grey out or not available, such as shelling feature and 2-D drawing/detailing. They are reserved for paid package.

Pros: Free. If that's enough, it's a decent program to.
Cons: What you gets a 30 day free trial, you have to go through a rather lengthy activation to get the "Xpress" version, which is feature-limited to the extreme.
Summary: Worth a go.

Pros: don't know, I couldn't register it because I couldn't get online after the install.
Cons: I didn't get any virus warnings, but my system crashed several times until I got rid of the program and did a system restore.

"Virus Warnings when validating install."
Pros: I couldn't try the software because I had to connect to Internet to validate installation and then received virus warnings.
Cons: This is a 30 day trial followed by limited functionality. Not the "free" it claims to be.
Summary: I couldn't try it but it seems sketchy.
