This firewall offers the rare combination of a powerful feature set and an easy-to-use design. During installation, the program finds all network-enabled applications on your PC and lets you set security policies for each. This eliminates the endless pop-up boxes you get with many firewalls, wherein you must allow or disallow certain processes from accessing your machine. We appreciate the ability to fine-tune all aspects of network usage using rules, and the easy-to-analyze logs are another big plus. In our tests, the firewall demonstrated good performance, successfully blocking several Trojan horses from our PC. Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro also enhances your Web-surfing experience by blocking pop-ups, Flash ads, and banners, as well as potentially dangerous elements on pages. Pros: good program and i give outpost pro 4 stars.
Cons: there is a problem i dont know how to fix it with outpost. when i block alg.exe then i restart the pc the block gone , and i must to block it again every time i restart the pc . but when i use sygate or looknstop and block some of aplications its will never remove the block until i remove it. plz outpost company fix this problem.

"The Best....., Pure and Simple"
Pros: This is by far the toughest, tightest, Firewall on the market. Simple ease of use set up. even if the smallest change in the way a program updates, OutPost hits off of it and WILL NOT allow the change unless you authorize it. It's options are simple but nothing is added in as a "perk" or "bonus" feature. OutPost is a Firewall, pure and simple. Works great along side a router and the router plays nice with it as well. The feeling of security you get is awesome compared to NIS or MacAfee, or any other paid for firewall. works great with AVG Pro for the parasites you don't want, and Firefox. Agnitum, for years has been my choice and always will be, kudos to both them and CNET's Download.com for provided a quality product with all the scumware out there.
Cons: it always displays a question mark in its icon when it is not clear if your isp is legit, but does not interfere with it at all, just annoying.

Pros: wow,its superb,finally a firewall tht can atleast compete with zonealarms standards, it really good and very easy to use for home users as it is hassle free, download recommended :)

Pros: It is great to use.blocks all port,infact it does block 27/27 leak test,whereas ZA did 25/27 coming second on popular leak-test website.it blocks all the ads,easyily configurable,no hassles!
Cons: I am highly upset with reviews here giving 1-star to outpost,just coz they cannot make it run on their computer,or don't know how to configure it.plz first use it,then give reviews.

Pros: i think outpost is very good firewall. but there is some of mistaks.
Cons: 1- blocking aplications not good.
2- hog resorcess.
3- take many of the space of my ram more than looknstop.
4- not easy to use.
