Publisher's description of Aevita No Right Click
From Aevita Software:Ever wanted to prevent users from "borrowing" images from your site through right-clicking them and "save image as" or right-clicking the page and viewing your page source? The No Right Click will disable the right click on your page in just a few clicks. The user-friendly wizard helps you to protect your HTML files in just a few clicks, so you don't need to learn complicated Perl, PHP, ASP and Web DB, profound encryption algorithms, do not need to write a piece of CGI or JavaScript code. Protect the content of your Web page by preventing others from viewing your source code.

Version: Aevita No Right Click 1.01
Pros: This software is Great i use it on my website all the time Thanks
Cons: Adverts i would prefer it with out link to there site
-
Version: Aevita No Right Click 1.01
Cons: Inserts an ad on the page. There is actually no use in protecting right-click because view source will always work somewhere, including the W3C validator if all else fails. Pictures can be taken by using screenshot software and so on, so this is pretty useless in my opinion.

"DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE! It has a major flaw."
Pros: This software has an abysmal hole in it that is a stunning failure and oversight on the part of the software writers.
On the very first tab, it instructs you to "Add" files you would like to encrypt or password protect. It states to choose HTML files or TXT files. Unfortunately, it will allow you to choose picture files (ie: .JPG). Rather than the program sending up a flag or not allowing those file types to be seen at all (like all other software that is telling you to open a certain file type - they don't even allow you to see other file types, or they state "Invalid File Type"), No Right Click not only allowed a client of mine to select his JPGs, it allowed him to continue, and No Right Click added code to the picture files themselves, corrupting every single one of his JPGs (over 75 pictures on his art website). HIS ENTIRE WEBSITE HAS TO BE REBUILT, BECAUSE ALL OF THE JPGS ARE NOW COMPLETELY CORRUPTED. This is an unacceptable flaw and the program should never have been released.
Cons: It is unacceptable that a novice user could be allowed to make such a horrendous mistake as to load JPGs into the program instead of HTML. If it says load HTML or TXT files (it does), then it should not let one choose ANY OTHER FILE TYPE.
Give me a break - this is lame, sloppy, and completely shoddy programming.
DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE.
I also sent an "EMERGENCY - BUSINESS CRITICAL" email to Aevita support yesterday - NO RESPONSE. I doubt very seriously anyone is even there.
Aevita is probably some hack sitting in his basement releasing crap freeware/shareware that isn't even error-checked.
DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE.
