It not only lets you play and navigate DVD, it also plays popular file types such as DivX, MPEG, AVI, WMV, ASF, MP3, JPEG, and GIF. AdvancedDVDPlayer includes: the built-in explorer that lets you browse your computer for favorite movie clips, songs, and images, then you can create play list by drag and drop.
Version 1.20 cleaned some unnecessary code to improve performance.

Pros: Its free
Cons: It has so much spyware embedded (including self installing programs) that I'm surprised it has enough code left to function as a DVD player (which it doesnt do particularly well). Total crap!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Webroot SpySweeper immediately found WhenUSave, SaveNOW, and Marketscore trying to load into memory. After deleting those programs, Explorer and Firefox would not run. It took a system restore to get my computer working again. It was my fault for not reading the "fine print".

"Beware... Tons of Spyware, etc."
Cons: My recommendation is to avoid installation of this software on your computer. It installs all kinds of tracking applications, a unwanted search bar, etc.

"DO NOT DOWNLOAD !!! WILL TRASH YOUR MACHINE!!"
Pros: None....run away from this program as fast as you can.
Cons: Trashes your system! Boot sector GONE! Network GONE! Anti Spyware has over 600 attemps and the top 6 most dangerous get pushed on your machine. I have to rebuild from scratch! I am so po'd at this time.
If you have someone you hate and would love to ruin the their system reccomend this to them. I have no idea how this got the good rating it did.... I actually will never use CNET again because of this program!

Cons: Product is loaded with a bunch of spyware/malware!! "Save" software is loaded, as well as a lousy search toolbar you can't get rid of, along with some weather service software. I ran Ad-Aware right before I downloaded/installed this...when I ran it again afterwards, there were 298 objects on my PC!!! I still can't get it working right. What a piece of total crap.
