This isn't the most feature-packed Windows-optimization utility, nor the most effective, but we found it one of the easiest to control. Advanced WindowsCare's simple interface offers two main options: Repair and Repair And Optimize. The former fixes Registry entries and cleans out your operating system. The latter does the same thing and tweaks Windows for maximum performance.
If you run into trouble, the Restoration option can return your system to its original configuration. The Advanced menu provides fine control over repairs and optimizations. On the downside, we noticed only one improvement on our test PC: a reduced amount of used RAM. Also, the program's brief descriptions of system problems may not satisfy seasoned users. And although the latest version of the app includes a help file, we wouldn't call it extensive.
Nevertheless, if your system is running sluggishly and you're considering reinstalling Windows, it wouldn't hurt to try this freeware package first.

Version: Advanced WindowsCare 1.8
Pros: Finds and fixes problems in many different areas of your system, can optimize your system, and can restore you to previous settings, for free. Good interface.
Cons: Doesn't do the startup items on its own instead opens the settings window for it. Doesn't give you good details on the problems it says you have.

"Scans fast and "fixes" problems."
Pros: The interface is very easy for anyone to run this optimizing program. You scan for problems and then you have other options such as, repair and make windows run smoothly or repair and speed windows. I have found that my programs respond relatively quicker and that alone is a plus. This program is free and without any registration or fine print, download and use. This version seems to be better than the rest only because I have noticed an actual "optimizing" of my computer this time. It found (8) problems and anyone that I know of doesn't want any problems with their computer even if they don't know what they are. I must say that overall this program is something that most compulsive/obsessive disorder people would love since it finds problems that you didn't know you had.
Cons: You have to trust this program like a friend. It won't show you what it finds, but the upcoming program release does. I wouldn't download the new program that is "upcoming" because it still is in beta and it seemed to cause a couple of problems. You also have to reboot, but this only a con if you are impatient. As for real cons? If this program was like it's paid version, that you can repair/fix and optimize more I would rate it a big FIVE stars but since you know that there can be more that can be fix and optimized, you truly don't know how much this program actually does and what problems aren't being addressed. Anyways, worth the download if you want "some" of your computer "fixed and optimized".

"Reallly, I can't recommend this highly enough."
Pros: Timed & measured, it cut my reboot-time by 2/3's, increased my available ram by 10% and browser opened home-page in 1/6th the time before install. It even shows the modifications before you engage them and has a restore button if you don't like the changes. Has no spyware or virus(AVG) and is completely free!!! Much better than PC-Pitstop/Optimizer & FreeRamXP-Pro combined. Option of up-grading to Pro-version for $25 or just wait for the free 2.0-version (out soon?)
Cons: ...nada, not even stability issues!

"I was sorta wondering why this product received so many good reviews"
Pros: as I didn't see nothing another utility couldn't do and I found out why.
Cons: You can go to iobit and get a free upgrade version to the paid version of their product.
Only cost is you have to say something nice about their product on cnet or somewhere else (I guess another website) and I believe also send a picture of yourself.
How can you trust any of these reviews if they do that? Ask youself that, but if you just go to their website and page down it's on the index page. I can't put a link here or else I would.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: This has a trojan in the download, I tried the programme it messed the machine up to such a stage I had to re install windows. You have to wonder why it is free to use, and why does one click put right so many problems? Stay away from this one.
