This isn't the most feature-packed Windows-optimization utility, nor the most effective, but we found it one of the easiest to control. Advanced WindowsCare's simple interface offers two main options: Repair and Repair And Optimize. The former fixes Registry entries and cleans out your operating system. The latter does the same thing and tweaks Windows for maximum performance.
If you run into trouble, the Restoration option can return your system to its original configuration. The Advanced menu provides fine control over repairs and optimizations. On the downside, we noticed only one improvement on our test PC: a reduced amount of used RAM. Also, the program's brief descriptions of system problems may not satisfy seasoned users. And although the latest version of the app includes a help file, we wouldn't call it extensive.
Nevertheless, if your system is running sluggishly and you're considering reinstalling Windows, it wouldn't hurt to try this freeware package first.

"Best and safe freeware speeding up my laptop"
Pros: I can't understand why there are some bad reviews on this software. All my friends and I are fans of Adavanced WindowsCare, a real freeware. You guys know, finding an excellent freeware is hard nowadays. AWC has never closed your restoration without your permission. And I tried the new v1.21, it even gives up this function. No blue screen and no crash on my laptop. I suggest every user give this little freeware a try and present your own experience.
Cons: There are some little bugs happening on my laptop.

Version: Advanced WindowsCare 1.21
Pros: I had no trouble with this nifty little program and went on to purchase Intelli HyperSpeed from this source which contains added features. I use XP Home. Any services that are turned off by this freeware can easily be restored via Services
(Local) under Administrative Tools in the Control Panel. Also customer service is responsive and interested in improving the product!
Cons: There for sales product Intelli HyperSpeed does more.

Pros: Can not say enough good things about it easy to use nice interface and it do's the job my computer is running faster now glad I found this little program.

Pros: First time I scanned it found several problems, I fixed them all and optimized my computer. A while after I began having problems with diskeeper (Failed to Initialize when I try to defragment). I ran this program and it fixed that for me also!
Cons: None that I am aware of.

"THIS IS GREAT! Don't believe the negative comments..."
Pros: I am not related to the product in anyway except as a consumer. Don't agree with the bad reviews as I think they are from rivals or sour-grapes.
This product totally fixed my system! My PC is so much faster now. It gives us the opportunity to choose the areas we want to fix so no worries there.
It works fine people.
Cons: Nothing on this ..... so far. Tried other products that gave me problems....
A Note to CNET: Could you pls test them all 1st before putting them out. Its only human to be suckers for freebies ya. This is one of your good products though. Thanx!
