This program provides the basics in Registry cleanup, but its trial version only offers a taste. Like most Registry-cleaning programs, Registry Operator scans for errors, including invalid paths, start-up programs, shared DLLs, MRU files, orphaned help files, broken shortcuts, and faulty COM/Active X controls. The visually appealing interface is uncomplicated and easy to use. We appreciate its speed and didn't experience any problems with other running programs. The backup tool restores any changes made and the Registry compactor tool compresses your Registry once errors are deleted. However, both aforementioned features are useless during the trial since Registry Operator stops with scanning. Although it scans and presents Registry errors speedily, we can't readily comment on its aptitude as a cleaner.
