Not nearly as advanced as its name would suggest, this freeware DVD player is barely adequate for simple playback. AdvancedDVDPlayer doesn't let you bookmark interesting scenes. It doesn't automatically resume playback from the spot you last stopped watching. Most frustrating, it doesn't let you pause a movie and navigate through it with the time line. The interface mostly consists of the playback window and the MyPlayList and Explore panels, both of which have a rudimentary, amateurish look. AdvancedDVDPlayer scores points for stability and price, but with so many superior DVD players available for free, it's hard to think of a reason to choose this one.Publisher's description

"It's not worth the download!"
Pros: It plays DVDs. LOL.
Cons: You cannot control the playback features.
Summary: It plays DVDs for free. GUI is not great. The free version is limited. You cannot use controls such as fwd or reverse, etc.

Pros: Downloaded and installed no problem
Cons: Would play DVD files stored on my computer... didn't even recognize the standard DVD files. Utterly useless!
