AdvancedDVDPlayer is a player to play DVDs, movies, songs, and image files. It not only lets you play and navigate DVD, it also plays popular file types such as DivX, MPEG, AVI, WMV, ASF, MP3, JPEG, and GIF. AdvancedDVDPlayer includes: the built-in explorer that lets you browse your computer for favorite movie clips, songs, and images, then you can create play list by drag and drop. Cons: 1. Computer took a major nosedive after I installed this a few minutes ago and ran it. I closed out the program and it locked up me computer for a few minutes. Now my whole computer is running slow and locking up. Makes me wonder if it downloaded something after I installed it. I unchecked both of the installations for their ad things. It just scares me that it says
"supported by advertising" and then everything goes awry. Ha, my computer still is acting weird, will restart after this post.
2. Couldn't pause, skip, or any other DvD controls without buying the full version. I think it should be relabeled as "Free to Try" as it keeps asking me to please download the pro version to use any of those controls.
Cons: I downloaded, and opted not to buy their pro version, which is the first thing that pops up when you start the program. It must be to 'advanced' for me because I couldn't get to play a dvd. Even 'free' it's a waste of time.
