Version: Advanced DVD Player 2.12

"USELESS malware"

Pros: There is nothing to like about this "software". I should never have downloaded it.

Cons: It claims to have "no limitations" but even trying to do the most basic things just gets you a prompt to "Upgrade to Pro Version." By basic I mean such thing as pause(!), ffwd/rwnd, and full screen. Yup, that's right - you have to upgrade in order to PAUSE THE DVD YOU'RE WATCHING.

The ONLY way this thing has managed 3.5 star rating is by boosting it themselves. It should be removed from download.com.

Why, you ask, would someone bother writing such non-functional software? HINT: It tries to install a sketchy toolbar.

Version: Advanced DVD Player 2.12

"An excuse for a spyware"

Pros: Can play DVDs.

Cons: Download.com says 'No limitations', but the biggest limitation is no fullscreen playback. My firewall is detecting attempt to go online even during installation. Tries to install suspicious toolbars. Bad interface.
