From 01smith :Advanced DVD Player Pro not only lets you play and navigate DVD, it also plays popular file types such as DivX, MPEG, AVI, WMV, ASF, MP3, JPEG, and GIF. AdvancedDVDPlayer Pro is fully skinned. The built-in explorer lets you browse your computer for favorite movie clips, songs, and images, then you can create play list by drag and drop, no confusing setting for you to figure out. The player bookmarks the last video or song you played and automatically plays it next time it runs.
Version 2.06 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Comes with adware which you can't opt out of. Please don't download."
Pros: Its free...but who cares. It comes with adware out the wazoo.
Cons: It comes with WhenUSave adware. In this day in age you have got to be a complete dope to even think about installing this stuff. Please avoid this software. And I'm sure its not limited to JUST WhenUSave. I would bet there is more than that in there.
Either make your program 100% clean and free, or make then 100% clean and payware. Money doesn't come free in this world. Make a quality product and people will buy it...make crap and you find illegitimate download numbers and rating trying to get you to download this junko program.

"Bogus program, do not download for any reason"
Pros: Pros=Nothing.
Cons: Cons=Spyware+Adware.. Cannot Fastforward, Rewind, FullScreen, or anything beyond Play/Pause unless u buy the professional version. Huge resource hogger, ugly interface, looks like it was coded by a highschool Visual Basic enthusiast. The worst DvD player I've come across, even without having to erase the hidden spyware/browser hacks.. Another example of Download.com's lack of standards.
As for actual DVD viewing, it was extremely choppy, freezes, and skips alot of frames.. Good example of how not to make a program.

"Seems to be a bad program. One to avoid."
Pros: Do not know. I am not taking a chance.
Cons: Considering ALL the reviews that really hate this program, why is it available for download ? It appears some unsuspecting downloaders will try it & probably be very sorry they did. Download.com. Why ????

"Two Letters Describe It All........ N.O."
Pros: wow im suprised this program could even be considered for pros!
Cons: Well if you use firefox, then an extention called siteadvisor will give you a little info on this, first of all it itstalls NewDotNet A Browser hacker, second it gives pop-up and pop-under ads, and third and most important, VERY difficult to uninstall, at least for me anyway.
So if you dont like to spend your free time uninstalling newdotnet and adware i suggest you stay away from this program......FAR AWAY!!!!
