This program not only offers a fast and easy way to convert images among a variety of formats, it also packs a capable set of editing tools. Advanced Batch Converter supports just about every popular image type and handles batch or single conversions in a jiffy. Also, though the interface is no beauty, it's fairly intuitive, so you may not need the detailed tutorial. You can drag images into a program window, or you can perform file conversions outside the application via command-line options. However, this program is more than just a simple conversion utility. You'll find tools for zooming, rotating, cropping, removing red-eye, creating slide shows, and drawing. We also were pleased to discover a surprisingly large number of effects, including options for color adjustment, distortion, morphing, sharpening, and filtering. The download restricts you to six image transformations per session, but you can always close the program and come right back if you need to do more work. We think Advanced Batch Converter will please just about anyone except high-end or professional users.Publisher's description

Version: Advanced Batch Converter 4.0.19
"Good product, but too expensive for what it does"
Pros: Fast conversions, doesn't stretch of shrink out of proportion, supports a lot of formats
Cons: $60 for a format converter?
Summary: I have to convert thousands of graphic files to various other formats. Unfortunately, running an Adobe Photoshop script takes more than an hour to convert 1,000 images to .jpg format. Advanced Batch Converter did the same thing in a fraction of the ... read more >>

Version: Advanced Batch Converter 4.0.19
"Don't download unless you want to pay full price."
Pros: It appears to work.
Cons: I grow so weary of companies that are ambiguous about their software pricing.
Summary: "simple interface, excellent usability, low cost and free trial period "
Low cost? I'd pay 20 bucks for this, not 60. There is no free trial period; they mark your images with their watermark. You get X free, you say? Who cares. I bu... read more >> - See all 2 user reviews Write review
