Publisher's description
From Gold-Software :Advanced Batch Converter does exactly what its title suggests, allowing you to easily convert multiple graphics files at the click of a button. You also can view, print, capture, acquire, and edit images (resize, rotate, flip, mirror, and crop, and use filters, morphing effects, watermarks, and color enhancements). The program supports about 90 file formats, including BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, PSD, TGA, PCX, RLA, RPF, RLE, DIB, WBMP, PSP, TARGA, JFIF, WIN, JFI, WMF, EMF, EPS, PDF, PS, AVI, CUR, ICO, PPM, PGM, PBM, PCD, FAX, VDA, GIF, AFI, J2K, JPC, PIC, JPEG 2000, DIB, CUT, G3F, G3N, EXIF, IPTC, VST, WBMP, IRI, IRIS, RGB, WBM, and WAP. In addition to the ability to batch-convert, you can carry out single conversions. The program also includes full support for carrying out conversions (batch or otherwise) through the use of command-line input.
Version 3.9.76 adds new formats and multipage TIFF support and fixes a critical command-line bug.

Version: Advanced Batch Converter 3.9.76
Pros: Clean Interface, Many Options, Easy To Use...
Cons: Not a BAD program but does ALOT of things and not VERY great at any of them, so JACK OF ALL TRADES BUT MASTER OF NONE... The WORST part is that this program is IDENTICAL to "Advanced Batch Converter" so it seems someone defected from one company and started a rival firm. Sadly, the interfaces are IDENTICAL, options are IDENTICAL, even the PROBLEMS are IDENTICAL... How sad is that where you CLONE someone else's software but do not even bother IMPROVING it or making it look ANY DIFFERENT... Anyway, this program seems solid and has ALOT of options but we will just take a snapshot of ONE EXAMPLE. ICONS are NOT handled properly and you cannot save multiple icon dimensions into one ICON file, like 16X16, 32X32, etc. Worse, it does NOT handle transparencies correctly and forget about supporting Windows VISTA icons let alone Windows XP icons. Stay away from BOTH programs unless you have NO CHOICE because I HATE COPYCATS...

Version: Advanced Batch Converter 3.9.76
Cons: This was taken from their 'help' files -
Priority Support customers: max. 24 hours (normally much faster, even on weekends and holidays). Customers: max. 48 hours (normally faster; we may not be available on weekends and holidays). Everyone else: we cannot make any commitments, but we will definitely answer every e-mail.
Well, I emailed em a support question a week ago *through priority support* about the bug's in their software. Then I sent them a follow up email two days later, neither of them have been answered... and I know they recieved them cause I sent one using their online forms and the other through a direct email. They didn't even have the courtesy to send me a reply. Value of owning Advanced Batch Converter - 0 dollars, Being able to slam a bad company for ignoring their customers - priceless.

Version: Advanced Batch Converter 3.9.76
Pros: Very easy to use. If this software confuses anybody, they are just dumb and can't function in society properly.
Cons: I have not found anything bad.

Version: Advanced Batch Converter 3.9.76
"DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! RIP-OFF!!!"
Pros: The product demo worked nicely and appeared to be everything I was looking for.
Cons: When I purchased the unlock key, it did not work. I sent emails, I called the support number, I sent a fax to the fax number. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. I am out $40 and the software is totally unusable. It's a shame because I really liked the demo, but either this is a one man show and he's ill/absconded, or the company is on the rocks. The phone still answers, but no help.

Version: Advanced Batch Converter 3.9.76
Pros: If you do a lot of batch conversion, this program is for you. It's easy to use and is very fast. The trial version is limited to converting six files at a time. You can convert a single file, too.
ABC has other features, such as screen capture. I managed to convert pdf files to JPEGs, TXT and other formats.
I haven't tested all of the features, but batch conversion is the highlight.
Cons: No provision for converting HTML files to PDFs and vice versa. Not enough file conversion formats. Not flexible enough to be your only conversion program.
