From Matthias Schüssler :Address Harvester extracts e-mail addresses from mailbox files. You can use this tool to create a list of the recipients or the senders of all mails stored in a mailbox. This is a convenient way to collect the addresses for a mailing or to get an overview of all the partners in a particular project. You can access the mailboxes many mail programs with Address Harvester: MBox files (Eudora, Netscape, Thunderbird) Outlook, and Outlook Express. This tool may not be used for producing unsolicited mail (spam). Version 1.1.0.131 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: Clearly can see, connect to and understand the relevant mailboxes
Cons: Will not import or save addresses once they have been set up. Possibly that's part of the restriction? Odd. Very odd. It appears well implemented and I really thought this would be the one that works.

Pros: The software removed duplicates and sorted them by the second part of the address so it was easy to review multiple addresses from the same company.
Cons: I guess step by step instructions but they really weren't necessary.
Summary: I can't believe how well it worked! Just trying to complete a project for work, I've never tried any software like this. I downloaded and within 15 minutes had a workable txt file. It was a little tricky but really nice. Unlike the other reviewer... read more >>
