Much more than a simple pop-up blocker, Ad Annihilator scores all aces. The program not only installs as a colorful toolbar in your Web browser, it also lets you access all functions via a right click. In our tests, the application capably killed all pop-ups, banners, and Flash ads we threw its way, and you can choose to block or allow all three types of ads from particular sites. We appreciate that Ad Annihilator can eliminate many banners or pop-ups at once by using a string or a specific keyword as a cue to block, and the ability to save your customized settings as a project is a nice plus. Once you switch to the advanced mode, you'll uncover a whole new world of functionality, as Ad Annihilator features an enhanced cache that lets you browse offline Web pages. If you're digging through a long list of offline sites, you can easily find what you're looking for by searching by name, content, and date. Version: Ad Annihilator 2.4.3
Pros: I like its Banner Sniper with which I can shoot banners like on safari ) I feel myself capable of destroying any banner I wish with no exceptions and Ad Annihilator does its best to help me in this. Yes, I got used to surf without ads and I feel that soon I'll forget what a banner is and how it looks like ;-)

Pros: Absolutely awesome, nukes the entire winfixer page that kept bugging me and blocks the flash ads on Pandora. This is some crazy good stuff. Doesn't even take up a whole toolbar layer, just sorta stores itself in a corner.

Pros: It works well blocking ads and those anoying flash splash ads.
Cons: It slowed down my pc, and it adds context menus everywhere that you can not remove. I am used to closing IE windows at the task bar by right clicking and hitting close, but now the close command is half way up the menu instead of at the bottom where Ad Annihilator has placed its own menu choices.
Ads an IE toolbar that can not be resized, however you can remove it.
Also after the title of every page it says Ad Annihilator.
These are little annoyances that I am sure a lot of people can live with.
Lastly it could be a little more user friendly.

"Good offline browser and popup blocker in a single box"
Pros: Well-done tool but I use it primarily for sharing of my web pages between work and home computers. Since I have to perform my work on two computers this helps me greatly to exchange web documents between them with ease. Export package command makes a good and compact archive that can be easily imported on another computer. As for the other side of this program, banner and popup blocking, it does its work well, too, and improves offline browsing side as well by not storing in offline cache slathers of junk ads

"Cookies are blocked pretty well"
Pros: As it was announced by program authors, Ad Annihilator really stops cookies (I tested this). Unlike other cookie stoppers, it shows the cookies that were sent, received or blocked on my PC. I like veruy much that I can see specific cookies altogether with their content. I can see what personal info sites store or try to store on my PC and this helps sometimes to avoid extra personal information exposure
Cons: It could be a bit simpler and hence cheaper as I need only a little subset of its features
