From Active Data Recovery Software :Active@ Hard Disk Monitor is a disk utility that monitors the status of your hard drives to help prevent data loss. It is based on the Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology. This utility monitors HDD SMART parameters like Temperature, Head Flying Height, and Spin-Up Time to notify a user if critical conditions occur. Disk Monitor also displays hard disk drive geometry, time of usage, and the overall status of the disk's health.
Version 1.2.650 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Identfied as malware by Pc tools threatfire program"
Pros: It all sounds good but I never got the program since Pc tools threatfire identified it as Mal_otorun5
Cons: Pc tools theatfire said that program was known as Mal_otorun5 so I had threatfire to kill the download.But part of the program got through to my system anyway!
Summary: This Mal_otorun5 was a beast to get totally out of my system. The part that got thought was locked and couldnot be removed even in safemode-I'm not a newbe so I know a number of ways to rid files from my computer. I finally downloaded a program ca... read more >>

"Simple, very easy to use. Nice interface."
Pros: Fast & easy to use. Lost of useful detail.
Cons: No cons that I found.
Summary: This utility give excellent info on the state of you disk. I tried several other utilities to diagnose my hard drive problems to no avail. This one told me exactly what was going on in less than 30 sec.

Cons: Did not work on my Sata harddrive with S.M.A.R.T. capability.
