"The most amazing loop tracker in its class."
Pros: Fantastic support for all manner of DirectX plug-ins, enabling EQ and dynamics processing to be tweaked for individual tracks/sounds. Children can point'n'click the mouse to compose wonderful soundscapes with ease. Adults can apply the sound-painting philosophy in a professional environment, to make artistic backing tracks. Musicians can reach a compromise with their ideas in an efficient timeframe, cutting production costs. No doubt every sound buff will have already come into contact with this easy-life cut'n'paste looping tool.
Cons: There's nothing negative to say about this software because it does exactly what it says on the box. Having said that, perhaps a built-in overall editing environment would be good once the tracking is composed. This would help in mastering the project's bigger picture.

Pros: if you can use a paint program, you can use acid pro, because i liked the way it's just like cut-and-paste for sounds. has loads of great features for adding effects. i need more plugins to play with my new acid toy. seamless integration with sound forge and the likes of vegas pro, etc. which makes it something for the serious musician. my kids are addicted to it for the techno grooves. there you go.

"the best audio program period"
Pros: easy to use,full sound studio program allows you to mix arrange and adjust all the levels of the track
Cons: wont let you individualize sounds for editing simple things like just the bass level
