It worked for my MDW file

Pros
It worked on my MDW file. It showed me all the Admin and User level passwords. Now I can fix a problem the last DBA wouldn't - who is now no longer around.

Summary
I needed to gain access to my MDW file and this worked very well. I purchased the Pro version but the standard would have worked to. I figured $10 more and someday I may need to use the extra features.

I was concerned because many of these programs appear to be from shady vendors, overseas, with strange payment systems. Not encouraging to give them a credit card number! But this vendor, while also out of the USA, at least has a professional presentation and, most important, the sale is transacted through Digital River in the US - a reliable provider for download software purchasing. The whole transaction completed in a minute, and the license key is given on the receipt page as soon as the process completes. Painless. I was able to easily recover a password to a client's Access 2003 database - a password known only to a fired employee! They got more than a decade of critical data back, along with a lecture.
