Publisher's description
From Ivan Mayrakov :This security program requests your username and password (or simply your password) upon boot-up. It is designed so that it cannot be bypassed if used on a machine running Windows 95/98/Me, and it is useful in preventing unwanted users from gaining access to your PC. Access Denied includes multiuser support (up to 450 user accounts), password encryption, the option for administrator to set up and check passwords, screensaver integration, and color highlighting of log files. An integrity test is also included.
Users can change their passwords without being an administrator if upon installing this feature is enabled. Program is able to save short messages even if the Screen Guard is on. Possible to synchronize Access Denied usernames with Windows logon names. The trial version keeps logs for only one week.

Version: Access Denied 3.4
"Delivers as promises! I plan to purchase license!"
Pros: I work in a school and needed a program to prevent access to my PC from nosey students and bored substitute teachers. This product has done trick. Before windows boots, user has 3 attempt to input the correct user name and password. After 3 failed attempts, the computer sets off an internal alarm and will not stop until shutdown. All the meanwhile a record is being kept of the login attempts. I also have administrative privledges by granting specific usernames/passwords to any additional users. A previous review mentioned the possibility of hacking this software. I tried to do what he said and could not. Maybe his directions were not clear, but I couldn't "hack" the program based upon what he said. Besides, if there is a potential risk of somebody hacking your software and breaking into your computer, you probably would want to buy something more then a $20 software. Nevertheless, this product serves it's purpose perfectly and does exactly what it boasts. I have not purchased the license yet, but I am in the progress of doing so.
Cons: Suprisingly, I can't think of any cons. I have some recommendations to make this product better, but that is irrelevant. This product does exactly what it claim it can do in the description.
