Was able to convert mpg to avi. The result seems perfect.
Cons
Wasn't able to convert mpg to avi, just gave me a 35mb sound file in avi format. Puts a very small watermark in the top left corner advertising this software.
Summary
Does the job. Grandma will be happy to see her granddaughters performance.

tried different formats.
.mpg to mp4 failed a few times. while windows media player could run them mpg's. Strange...

And other weird thing happened....
When I runned it the first time on windows 7, Win7 asked if I wanted this program to make changes. I said yes. Mostly regrettable for my stress level, cause next it shut down my virtual keybord, and immediately following up it shut down the pc itself. I felt stupid...(how could I install a virus manually!! was my first thought..)
Run virusscanner, but it found nothing. could be a glitch or something. Or some yet unknown malitty... need more people to verify I guess...Summary
Works 4 out of 5 files, and does weird crap...
