Abstracter is an an OS X contextual menu summary service for Carbon and Cocoa applications such as Safari or Apple Mail. In Safari, a news article can be summarized instantly by choosing the Select All command and then passing the selection through Abstracter's summarizer to the clipboard. Abstracter supports summarization in most European languages as well as Japanese (the software is localized for eight European languages and Japanese).
