Version: AbsoluteTelnet Telnet / SSH Client 5.06
"Reliable no-bs does what it says on the box"
Pros: Absolute Telnet never got in the way of anything I was trying to do and compared to other programs it was very fast and easy to use. The program itself is reliable and user friendly, the toolbar making life a little easier, and setting-up the security features couldn't be easier considering the number security options it supports (SSH1, SSH2, and more..) When no default connection is set-up Absolute Telnet smooths the process by providing an easy to use tabbed-interface that lets you choose how much of the program's rich security options you want to use. And also once you've got your connection up and running the program even remembers the settings you used to start the connection next time so all it has to do is just ask you a couple of security questions and that's it. It's a dream and it couldn't be any easier. The emulation of colours in the terminal is perfect, and so is the cursor, and the scrolling of the screen. I've been using it to get access my web server and throughout the whole time it's been flawless. You can even customise the fonts used, and the program resizes them to match the window size for the terminal size for you. And if this wasn't enough there is even a feature to have the main window running as a transparency so you can still see your other windows beneath it.

Version: AbsoluteTelnet Telnet / SSH Client 5.06
"Stable product, exemplary support!"
Pros: The company I work for has been looking for quite some time to replace an aging version of Procomm, primarily to solve the problem with certain routers that would disconnect after a few minutes of inactivity (to be fair, other telnet clients besides Procomm do not offer a "keep alive" feature), but also to be an SSH as well as telnet client -- one program to do both. Absolute Telnet (AT) meets these two requirements, and more, without all the extra (overhead) functionality of Procomm that we just don't need.
But the best part about AT is the support: The one or two problems I've encountered were addressed very quickly, often with new releases in a matter of a few short days. It's refreshing to be working with a software author that pays such careful attention to his customers, and an author who REALLY knows his product inside-and-out.

Version: AbsoluteTelnet Telnet / SSH Client 5.06
"My New Favorite Telnet/SSH program!"
Pros: I have tried many other telnet progams over the years and this is the best I've used yet.
There are many good programs out there, but they don't have the great extras that this one has, or they only have a few of the features.
1. Telnet and SSH
2. The unix style copy paste funcion works right for file names with a dot "." in the middle.
3. Auto login ability
4. You can resize windows without loosing the contents of the screen.
5. multiple window/tab feature for easy navigation between multiple sessions.
Cons: None.

Version: AbsoluteTelnet Telnet / SSH Client 5.06
"Excellent Product with even better support"
Pros: This is one of the best SSH/Telnet clients around. Supports every type of encryption I've ever dealt with, along with X forwarding for remote X sessions. It also supports Z/X modem transfers and a new tabbed interface similiar to FireFox. Even though this is a feature rich rock solid product the real value lies in the support from the author. The author has worked through every issue I have ever had and consistently releases updates to fix any issues that arise, within days! Not like other software where your waiting months for a product update.
Cons: Interface is nasty looking if you are running the unregistered version.
