Absolute fun
Developer response is unequaled and that carries a lot of weight with me.
Thank you, David -
"A terrible job of programing the AI engine."
Version: Absolute Farkle 3.6
Pros
It has the ability to be a good game.
Cons
Be prepared to loose. You will farkle more, take more turns to start and score less per turn than the computer. There is a glitch that allows the computer to roll until it gets the points it needs to win. This game isn't worth the $20.
Summary
I want my $20 back. A total was of time and money.

"Quite fun"

I couldn't believe it when I found Farkle of all things. I grew up playing but rarely do I meet anyone who plays but they all love it when I show them. I was tickled when I found it. Fun. Fun. Fun. To the guy who commented on price... If you buy more than one thing from David (which I did, the backgammon is great) I got a deal. You never know what you will get until you ask. -
"Absolute Farkle 3.0"

Summary

I've played Farkle with long-time friends for decades! You can imagine my surprise when I saw Dave's (Dave's Backgammon) electronic version posted in Versiontracker. I downloaded it immediately and playing the demo just once I knew this was a must-have. I sent along the $20 shareware fee via snailmail (You can pay w/ PayPal at the Farkle site) and contacted Dave regarding payment, and immediately got an email back from Dave with some info and tips. I quickly got an email follow-up with the code when my payment arrived.
About the game... Fun, true to the original, easy to play and addictive. Very easy to use and change in the preferences. You can play against the computer or another person which is great also. I highly recommend this game if you like dice games.
