After I finally got Win7 to reconize that I had usb audio I had no
problems with it. Kinda works like Showbiz.Cons
Have not used it that much so far and thus have no cons.

Shutting down is a bit tricky. It appears that there is no easy way to shut down.

Getting the system up and to do what you need is both easy and fun to use. The only problem is the correct shut down procedure.

Simple interface. Does the job. Nice to have the 2 video format options right there.

Does NOT import/record in mpeg4 format--it's mpeg2. That may just be a misprint on C-net. The software's home page lists it as mpeg-2.
Summary
Works for what I needed it to do, and it's free. What more could I ask? :)
This is not really a con: Importing from dvcam results in the weird .dv extension/format (vs .avi) that only VLC player can play, not Windows Media Player. This is ok though, once you know. I edit using Adobe Premier Pro, which accepts the .dv format, so no biggie. -

Great video capture with ability to play around and tune up the result to how you want it. Lots of useful features and also a free video editor too.

None so far but it's early days
Summary
I've only just installed it and played with it to try and test it. It seems great with lots of useful controls etc.
Total manipulation of video seems possible because included in the download is a free video editor.
I haven't put it to work yet but now at the initial play try and test stage it looks like it's going to be a nice set of tools.
We shall see..... ;) -

"Strange sound"

Well... it records video as claimed.
Cons
The program causes a strange pulsing noise that gradually gets louder. I tried all audio settings and nothing helped. My mic and audio work fine in other video/audio programs.
It also wanted me to buy components to be able to watch and edit videos.Summary
I don't know what the problem was, maybe it's not fully compatible with my webcam/mic or Windows Vista 64-bit.
